POWER SOURCES - Where do your hitters get their Power?
The Power House Hitter is an awesome addition to any softball players or baseball players hitting power routine. ONE big hit can win a game. Softball is a game of POWER and this is a great tool to turn your softball players into powerful hitters. Every softball skill is derived from some type of explosive power source. Softball players that want to excel need to learn how to develop explosive power and then be able to translate that explosive power into a measurable skill such as hitting power.
Many amazing softball players have shown that hitting power comes in all shapes and sizes. Great softball and baseball hitters realize the value of initiating and utilizing the power of their legs, hips and glutes to unleash that power into their swing. Most softball players are not aware of how to fire their hips and initiate that incredible hitting power. How do you teach a softball player or baseball player to develop that explosive hitting power? The Power House Hitter is a system developed that implements resistance that pulls away from each batter and forces softball players to pull through the resistance and drive through their swing with their hips and legs. Notice each movement in the video above. This hitting drill video shows how the resistance is forcing the hitter to use her hips in each swing. A hitter that can derive that type of hitting power will and is a true power house hitter.
